Planting Instructions

1. Best Time to Plant:
   • Sow fenugreek seeds in early spring or autumn. In warmer climates, you can grow it year-round.
2. Soil Preparation:
   • Use well-drained soil enriched with organic compost. Fenugreek thrives in soil with a pH of 6.0–7.0.
3. Sow the Seeds:
   • Scatter seeds directly onto the soil surface and cover with a thin layer of soil (about 1/4 inch). Space rows 6–8 inches apart.

Watering Tips

• Germination Stage: Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged until seeds sprout, which usually takes 5–7 days.
• Growing Stage: Water regularly, especially during dry spells, to keep the soil evenly moist.

Growing and Maintenance

1. Thinning Seedlings:
   • Thin seedlings to 3–4 inches apart once they’re a few inches tall to allow proper growth.
2. Fertilizing:
   • Fenugreek is a nitrogen-fixing plant and doesn’t require much fertilizer. A light dose of organic compost is sufficient.
3. Weeding:
   • Remove weeds regularly to prevent competition for nutrients.
